Writing Away

Life is strange. Everyone has their own path in life. Everyone has their own struggles and challenges. No two lives are ever the same. It's really interesting to me to meet someone with such a flair for life or someone who really has had to struggle through life. Like, life is not easy! Life is an adventure. Its like ur handed a set of cards, you have to play them, but how you choose to play them is your choice. My life is not where I thought it would be at being 26 years old. But it could be way worse. Who cares, I pay my rent, I pay my bills, my goals are within reaching distance, I make new goals every day, I work hard and I can play even harder. Life is a balancing act. In order for one part of ur life to be at peace u have to have the other areas of ur life just as balanced. My life, its my life and I like it. I see myself doing great things, as for now, where I am, its where I need to be, if it wasnt, then I wouldnt be here.   "Life is either a daring adventure or not...

In the storm/ wine cellar! Waiting this out! The radio says we are surrounded by tornados! eeeccck! I kind of want to cry

Steph and I are sitting n the storm cellar...electricity is out... I'm terrified! We have a self wind up radio... I didn't know I would be working out my arms while sitting underground.

Congrats to the Happy Bride and Groom!  I'm so happy for them. The big day is going to be amazing and so much fun! Everything is going by so fast, we'll be in Puerto Rico before we know it! Anger Danger! Goooo MAVS! we work really hard! 

Some music that got me through our rd trip!  OMG!!! Im home!!! It was a long drive, but I made it home!! Sissy and I split the drive so it wasnt that bad. We took 114 all the way home....theres nothing out there, but the rd was fun to drive since there were more curves and corners to take...I tried to see how fast i could go around a corner, got to about 95-ish and then got scared.... Ill say thats not bad for me! :) my sister wasnt too thrilled. We only stopped twice! In and out, real fast! I just wanted to get home! Im back to civilization! Im glad I made the trip to see my sister. We spent some quality time together. I dont think Ill be making anymore visit till my sister graduates. Time to rest up for tonight to see my friends AND I have a BIG day on Sunday!! :-)))  There's no place like home!  Used up my sisters eggs since she's not going to be at her apartment for a while.... eggs at 230am? I made it Lubbock in one piece!! The plane was tiny and I almost had a panic attack. I was on a 50 seater plane, the smallest kind of plane I've ever been on! It was only a 50 min trip, but I was still very nervous! I almost had wished I had just driven my car. But 5 hrs vs. 50 mins...hands down Im going with the 50 min plane trip. I just dont like that I dont have control of my life. The landing was pretty smooth. I held my breathe the entire time we were taking off and landing. I dont know how I'm going to survive a 6 hour flight though. I barely made it to Lubbock. I have two more flights before I take my big trip, at least Im getting some practice in! I called my mom the minute I landed and told her that I didnt "wake up dead!" ;-) Today my sister has to work 3-midnight. So Im left to fend for myself. She left me her car so I can run around lubbock on my own. ;-) There is so much dust out here, I hear its normal though. Yuck. I do have some errands to run so I w...
