Writing Away

These past five months have been so difficult! But things are finally looking up!! I got a job out in Dallas and a NEW CAR!! My mom also got a new car! No worries, they still have the van that my  dad will now have to drive! It's a good thing he works close to home because the van is on it's last leg of life. It's on life support!  I am so relieved to have a job! Finding a job has been so difficult! So now my next step is to move closer to work! Once I get settled into my job, I will start to look for a place of my own! I can't wait to be back out there! Living with my parents was supposed to be temporary but I had so many road blocks that it turned into a longer stay than I had planned for!  I couldn't have done it without the support of my family and all my friends! I am so grateful to have people that will stick by thru thick and thin!  Even with all this negative energy around me, I was still able to find happiness!  My birthday is right around the corner an...

I ran across this old facebook status I had a year ago... "In order to move forward, you must make peace with and release the past. In order to have a full life, you must constantly let go of things and create new space for more fullness." Amazing how things can change so fast!  I was in such a different place a year ago! I have bloggers block which is why I haven't blogged in a while. Lots of 'stuff' going on in my life. Lots of changes, new adventure, new people, new places and I have defiantly been stepping out of my comfort zone! I'm proud of myself! these bangs are going to be the death of me! too short? too long? cut them even more with a blunt cut straight across?? idk!! urgh! 

it's kind of nice to know that i can still lose weight and keep my boobs! because normally they are the FIRST to go! Just Sayin'! Just pointing out the obvious! :)

I survived another river/camping trip!! yah!! go me! there were no snakes this time and i did not try to throw myself down a hill....but i did manage to get a small gash on my foot from something. but no worries, that was the least of my problems...our campsite was ransacked by four very unwanted  raccoons that were in reaching distant of my unclosed tent and of course i managed to seek out the one skunk that wasn't afraid of me...he didn't spray or anything but it was in the middle of the night and i screamed at the top of lungs and then proceeded to pronounce that there was a "SKUNK"... per Gary (yes Charlotte, ur dad was txting me! hahaha)  "haven't you learned yet that YOU should not go camping?"...obviously i haven't. i did however make sure that the other body in the tent with me, would be the first to go to the savaged raccoons before getting to me. needless to say, we did not get any sleep on our last night of camping...partly because of me....

Even though my return trip home has traumatized me, OVER ALL, I had a blast in Puerto Rico for Ashley and Dan's destination wedding! Puerto Rico is amazingly beautiful! La Concha  is a beautiful resort! I could not get over how perfect the ocean was and how relaxed it made me feel. Waking up to the a picture perfect view of the ocean and going to sleep to the sounds of waves crashing was more than I could ask for! It was a perfect get-away and I couldn't have asked to be with a better group of friends! It's an experience I will never forget! And I am so happy for Ashley and Dan, I felt so honored to be a part if their special day! I also made some awesome new friends! Thank goodness for facebook to keep us all together! I can't believe it's already  been two weeks since we've been home! There's a first for everything! I got my first sunburn and I finally got to gamble! Needless to say, all my hard workouts paid off, but I'm pretty sure I gained it all ba...
