Christmas 2014

Christmas is always my favorite time of the year! I don't know what it is about the holidays, but when it's here, I just love it! Parties, lights, holiday food and spending time with family. I was worried that Santa wouldn't make it into my house since we don't have a fire place. But he managed to deliver a few surprises! This was our first Christmas as husband and wife. Unfortunately my hubby was down the stomach bug. We spend Christmas eve in separate rooms. Not how I had imagined spending Christmas Eve, but it is what it is. I didn't want to get sick so I made my husband sleep on the couch. He loves sleeping on the couch so he didn't mind at all. I got a migraine that started Friday night that doesn't seem to want to go away! We were able to make Christmas and see all our family. It was a wonderful Christmas! Safety comes 1st

EVERYONE, especially women, young women, young adults, teenagers... as a woman, as a girl we should always be aware of our surroundings. There are some bad people out there that want to hurt people, hurt us, hurt women. I don't know why, I don't know the reasoning of it, and I don't understand why or how a human can harm another human. And when a person harms another person, there should be sever consequences. So, with this being said, I want to share some common sense safety measures that all women and girls should take. Always be aware of your surrounds. Get off your cell phones and pay attention to who and what is going on around you. When you're busy looking down at your phone, you don't know who may be following you and your leave yourself open to an attack.   If you must be on your phone, tell whoever is on the other line that you're walking to your car...put your phone to your side and walk to your car.
