Writing Away

waking up to the snow today made me really happy! seeing snow in general makes me happy. but.... seeing it from inside gaylord hotel made me even more happy because it was a cool 72 degrees and I didnt have to freeze my booty off to enjoy it! :) i really wish i had gotten some pictures because watching the snow from inside out was really pretty, it was like a snow globe...but opposite...im not sure that made any sense.  i was on the 4th floor over looking riverwalk cantina, a view from the top. and the room was quit nice! from what i can remember ;) what made the room wonderful were the curtains. keep the curtains closed and a person could sleep all day and not see a ray of sunshine, or in my case today...snow. if i could have i probably would have stayed in bed all day, but sadly, i couldn't.  thank goodness i was able to utilize all 8 pillows, because at the comfort of my own bed, i have 6 pillows . i was really worried that i would have to settle for only 4 pillows. wal...

Happy 2011 everyone! Hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas and rang in the new year with a BANG! This was the first year that I didn't go out. I was home doing laundry and cleaning my room at midnight. Pretty sure I was in bed by midnight. I sent out a few text to my closest friends and family, but I didn't go all mass text on everyone.   Part of the reason, I stayed in was because I had to be at work at the crack of dawn on Saturday. Sadly my alarm clock did not go off at 630a and I woke up just in time to NOT be late to work. I was rushed and didn't enjoy my morning commute. Although, I must say...waking up sober on new years day was amazing. My head wasn't pounding, I didn't feel like I was about to hurl all over the place and the sun was not hurting my face. I had gotten enough sleep and I felt refreshed. I can't say the same for some of my co-workers. We had 6 no shows no calls and one still very drunkard person calling in...well...still drunk. Satur...
